Do Not Step In Dark Places!Dominion the fourth book in the Serenity Series....Awesomely scary, seriously disturbed, and yet incredibly loved!
Alone had me wanting to run for Serenity, Buried had me running for home, Captured had me biting my nails and sitting on the edge of my seat, and now Dominion has me looking extra close to dark spaces, double checking that bush that just moved, and looking over my shoulder and seeking refugee by burying my head under the covers!
Maybe the scariest, and most suspenseful book of the series! Definitely kept me up way past my bedtime, had me wanting to put it down and run and hide to get away from those freaky little creatures yet so caught up in what was happening I was unable to turn away! I was caught hook line and sinker from the first page to the last!
My heart broke, my fear spiked, my nerves kicked in high gear throughout the whole book but often all within the same page! I had anticipated the release of this book and it did not disappoint! Turn up the scary, turn up the thrill, turn up the suspense and you have Dominion!
A must read for anyone who loves to be thrilled to the edge of their chairs, scared silly, and can't look away or prevent from biting their nails at the suspense and action within!
Highly recommended series! I do however recommended you read them in order starting with Alone!

I really like this series. I assumed this was going to be the last book, but fooled me!! So, now I'm off to see how things go for Sebastian, Serinity and Elizabeth!!
This has to be my favorite book from the Serenity Series!!!! I have read alot of books that have put a little fear in me but I must say I was looking over my shoulder and turning on every light in my house at 4 in the morning when I got up to use the restroom lol Marissa you really blew it out of the park with this one and just left us begging for more with the ending. My only problem is now what do I read until the next one comes out. Way to go Marissa!!!!!
I laughed, I cried, I can't believe everything that happened in this book. I was captivated from the very beginning. Such a passionate book. I cried at least 2 or 3 times. I don't want to give anything away so I'm just going to say, buy this book! You won't be sorry!
This family has been put through so much that I wonder if they will ever be happy and live in peace. This book from the series is definitely a darker one compared to the others. It takes you to an unknown dimension where nightmares are real. The other books have villains that can be physically fought, whereas Dominion's villain is a shadow, demons who must be fought with magic. I can't wait for the next one!!!!
Another great read. It's awesome as ever. She puts so much feeling and emotion in her books it draws u in. Great author.
Can you believe that the mind can conjure up so much fantasy that reality seems so behind? Marissa has created a world where unimaginable things occur and makes true emotions come to light. Even as Serenity is going through a lot Sebastian life is turned upside down and has to deal with emotions that he never felt before or at least for two n hundred years. In this book I understand where Sebastian is coming from and why he feels his failure as a protector has been compromised. His only solution was to leave and keep them protected from afar. On to the final chapter follow along. Enjoy.
"Dominion" is the 4th book of the Serenity Series, and is quite possibly the most far-fetched. Never the less, it is not any less interesting than the others. In "Dominion", Natasha from "Captured" exacts her revenge on Serenity and Sebastian, by making a deal with a demon to inhabit Sebastian. Due to this demon's possession, Sebastian's soul is transported to Dominion, an alternate universe of a hellish nature from which he may never return. Also, while possessed by the demon, he commits some reprehensible acts, of which he is unaware at the time and does not remember later, causing him to distrust himself for being around those he loves. This book introduces Iona, a beautiful young and powerful witch, a character I'm sure we'll see again.
I like this book and the entire series, and recommend it, if you enjoy a sweet paranormal love story filled with suspense.
