It's a very very high level overview of what big data is. So if you are interested in what big data is, this will give you a general idea. As someone who is a graduate in this field, this book was not helpful for me. I do find Kirill Eremenko incredibly helpful. He has a book called "Confident Data Skills" and he teaches many data science courses on UDEMY. If you are interested in his book, I suggest going to his confidentdataskills.com website first.
